Inspired by the shape of the Cuban Cigars: Cuban Belicosos Finos, Le Careme Belicosos Finos are award-winning cigars loved by cigar aficionados around the world. It's a 5 1/2" x 52 round cigar, unlike other cigars in the Le Carême cigar line, which are trunk pressed.

The Emergence of Le Carême Belicosos Finos

Crowned Heads teamed up with Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, to create Le Carême Belicosos Finos Limited Edition 2022. At Tabacalera La Alianza, the tobacco is aged, rolled, and packaged by hand. The cigar rollers are trained in the Cuban methods of rolling and finishing the cigars with a triple-cap method. 

Le Careme Belicosos Finos was developed and is manufactured under the watchful eye of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Carrillo is a master blender and cigar maker who learned the art of cigar making from his father in Vuelta Abajo, Cuba, and later in Miami, Florida. 

The Le Careme name came from the most unlikely of places—a chocolate soufflé!

During a tobacco sampling, Perez-Carrillo mentioned that the blended flavor reminded him of the flavor of a chocolate soufflé. This led to the name—Le Careme—inspired by the name of famous French chef Marie-Antoine Carême, who is known for creating the first soufflé!
