Tatuaje El Triunfador
Tatuaje El Triunfador Top-Quality Cigars
Back when it was first made, the Tatuaje El Triunfador cigar carried the nickname “Ghost Cigar.” That’s because it couldn’t be found on the website or any price sheet, and could only be ordered by specifically asking for it. The El Triunfador, which translates to the winner from Spanish, was Pete Johnson's way of certifying the following he had built over the years.
With a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapping Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, El Triunfador Cigars are medium in strength but full of plentiful flavors. Made in the Nicaraguan factory of the esteemed Jamie Garcia, they provide complex yet balanced flavors. There are also notes of cedar, earth, coffee, and a little spice.
El Triunfador cigar used to be a big fat list including in a variety of sizes:
- No.1 Lonsdale (Corona) (6.5"x42)
- No.2 Belicoso Fino (5.5"x52)
- No.3 Corona Gorda (Robusto) (5.6"x46)
- No.4 Robusto (5.0"x48)
- No.5 Petite Corona (4.4"x42)
- No.6 Lancero (Lancero/Panatela) (7.5"x38)
- No.7 Toro Grande (5.8"x54)
- No.8 Toro Gordo (6"x60)
Today Tatuaje El Triunfador comes only in three sizes. Two of the sizes are Lancero and Robusto using a Maduro Broadleaf wrapper and the third is called Favorito, which is a Petit Robusto. This last one version of El Triunfador uses Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and is presented in the form of Bundles. Pete Jonhson also recreated the packaging of the El Triunfador. The only thing I can tell you about these smokes is that they are for sure one of our favorite ones!
- El Triunfador Lancero Connecticut Broadleaf
