It is created to commemorate the year 1980, in which Gonzalez made his journey from Cuba to United States. He blended these cigars meticulously using only carefully selected tobaccos. It starts with a dark and oily San Andres wrapper from Mexico. Underneath this wrapper rests a blend of rich fillers from Nicaragua and Dominican all secured by a rare Ecuadorian Connecticut Broadleaf binder. This recipe yields a medium to full bodied smoke with hearty flavours. It exudes notes of cream, nuts and earth and some engaging aromas.
