These are Habano-seed wrappers that has been further with aged to develop a new variety of super special and rare tobacco. The result are truly silky, complex, medium-bodied smoke. The complexity of these smokes comes from the mix of aged tobaccos.
ALR is a new Limited Cigars release from the house of Rocky Patel. The term ALR refers to age, limited and rare, words typically used in the Cigar World to refer to particular high-quality crops of tobaccos that are unique, limited and aged. Usually, the production of these cigars is minimal. Rocky stays that these are tobacco leaves he has been collecting and aging for years.
Since 2018, Rocky Patel has brought these Limited Edition cigars. The blend from every year can differ, but the cigars are manufactured in Nicaragua at the Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. The First Edition of these rare tobaccos used Habano Seed wrapper from Ecuador over all Nicaraguan long-fillers. The Second Edition used Mexican San Andres Wrapper and proprietary tobaccos from Rocky Patel's farms located in Esteli and Condega.
Besides the fact that these cigars have, in general, a more complex flavor profile, they are not in the strongest cigars list. Generally speaking, the are medium strength smokes with a lot of flavors and sweetness to it. In our opinion, to savory these cigars, you should have some experience but no need to be a famous cigar smoker to try them.
