H Upmann Cigars
AJ Fernandez has been working with Altadis in the United States countless times. The latest project is their H. Upmann brand: H Upmann Nicaragua Heritage. The H Upmann is traditionally used as a Cuban Cigars Brand reproduced in America using Premium Dominican and/or Nicaraguan Tobaccos.
AJ Fernandez released his first cigar in 2017. It followed in 2018 with a limited edition called H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez, "Finca La Lilia 2009," with additional sizes. The original wrapper was Sumatra. H. Upman Nicaragua Heritage uses a triple fermented Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Habano Nicaraguan binder, and 100% Nicaraguan.
A new partnership has been formed between AJ Fernandez and Altadis USA. H. Upmann is a well-established cigar brand that has been around for 175 years, making it one of the oldest brands in the industry. The brand has a history and heritage of crafting exceptional blends and continues to create new premium cigars for enthusiasts to smoke and savor.
In 2017, H. Upmann collaborated with AJ Fernandez to produce the H. Upmann by AJ Fernandez cigar. Two years later, Cigar Aficionado ranked the H. Upmann 175 Anniversary as the No. 10 cigar of the year. The latest addition to the collection is the H. Upmann Nicaragua AJ Fernandez Heritage, a top-notch handmade cigar that is currently available.
Some spices and black pepper make the strength a medium plus. Some spice and floral elements in retro are interesting. Spiced pepper and spice smoke are still lingering.
You can buy a box of H. Upmann's new cigars to try their bold and latest product. The cigar box features a Nicaraguan binder and filler and a triple-fermented Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper blend made from tobacco grown on AJ's farms in Nicaragua. This blend provides the cigar with a medium-full flavor. The ongoing success of H. Upmann can be attributed to a partnership between two renowned figures in the industry.
The cigar had some interesting finishings. From the start, the primary flavor of espresso remained evocative throughout; changes occurred in the character of dark chocolate in the finish flavors and its supporting strength. It is initially creamy chocolate, then transitioned into peat, and finally into salted caramel.
The AJ Fernandez H Upmann Nicaragua Heritage Churchill Cigars are available online and in our Brick and Mortar Cigar Shop. They are a product of a collaboration between Altadis USA and AJ Fernandez Cigars, made by Abdel Fernández using tobacco from AJ's farms in Nicaragua. A Brazilian Mata fina leaf that has undergone triple fermentation is used for the wrapper. This medium to full-bodied cigar is ideal for people who enjoy a smooth, flavorful, and oily smoke.
