J.C. NEWMAN CIGAR COMPANY, A TAMPA BASED.
The J.C. Newman Cigar Company, a family-owned premium cigar maker in the US, was established by Hungarian immigrant Julius Caesar Newman in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1895. With over a century of experience, it holds the distinction of being the oldest cigar factory and company still active and family operated.
In 1954, the company relocated to Ybor City, Florida, renowned as the capital of fine cigars, and is currently based in the Regensburg cigar factory, founded in 1910. The Newman family, now in its fourth generation, continues to own and manage the business.
J.C. Newman Premium Cigar distributes Arturo Fuente cigars across the US, with the exception of Western Europe. The close relationship between the Newman and Fuente families is a cornerstone of their operation, with Arturo Fuente Cigar Company crafting some of the most esteemed cigar brands for the Newman Family, including Julius Caeser and Diamond Crown Maximus, among others.

ONE MAN CIGAR FACTORY: EL RELOJ, TAMPA, FLORIDA
Originally a humble one-person cigar factory, the company has defied numerous challenges throughout its existence. From weathering the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression to enduring two world wars, the Cuban embargo, smoking bans, high taxes, and industry consolidation, they not only survived but thrived.
One of Tampa's oldest operating cigar factories, El Reloj, owned by the J.C. Newman family, has been transformed into a captivating historical museum. This renovated factory, originally built in 1910 by E.
