Fuente 858 SG float my boat!
I have been smoking the Fuente 858 Sun Grown cigars since they came out in 2000. This has been and is my go to cigar. Over the last 12 years I have smoked almost 90 boxes of these. Beautiful construction with a perfect draw. I love the extra body and tons of flavor the Ecudorian Cloud Grown wrapper gives this cigar. This years batch is from the second rolling of this cigar. It appears to be a ring gauge or two larger than the first rolling (releases from 2000 through 2008), hence the slightly larger boxes. I asked Carlito about this and he just smiled which isn't uncommon as the Fuentes keep their cigar sercrets very close to the vest. A gret value for the price. Just finished off a box released back in 2000 and it has aged very well. These old Fuentes still have a lot of legs! However, I really like htese freshso you can't go wrong!
