RyJ hits the mark with this cigar!

I talked myself into trying the Romeo Robusto just because I was so turned off by the band, but I also felt that was a foolish reason to pass on a great-looking Dominican cigar. It had a good heft to it, a very nice aroma, and a beautiful wrapper which is advertised to be a dark Ecuadorian Habano. The construction, draw & burn were excellent, and the flavors were very nice with just a touch of sweetness. By the end of the first third, the natural oils had given the entire wrapper a gorgeous, shiny, reddish-brown hue. Medium-full in body, a bit of a shocker considering the brand, it's a cigar I look forward to relaxing with again. The price of the single Robusto (in Oregon) was $5.59 and anything better than that I would consider a terrific bargain.
