Highclere Castle Victorian

The new Highclere Castle Victorias is manufactured by AJ Fernandez Cigars (Nicaragua). These cigars are stronger and darker smokes to the original release that uses a Connecticut wrapper. The Colorado Ecuadorian Habano wrapper adds an entirely new flavor profile adding a powerhouse to the smoke. These hand rolled cigars are blended by Nicholas Melillo, the men behind Foundation Cigars. This is a entirely new blend that is already getting a lot attention. Cigar Snob Magazine just added to the Top 25 cigar of the year, No. 22.

The Highclere Castle Victorian are some of the best of the best hand-made cigars in the marketplace now. They are hand-made in Esteli, Nicaragua, using the finest upper priming Habano Ecuador wrapper, and both Criollo and Corojo from the volcanic soils of Esteli, Jalapa, and the island of Ometepe. The cigar is medium-bodied with elegant notes of cedar, lightly roasted coffee, and spice. And in my modest personal opinion, they have a Cubanesque flavor profile in their smoke!
