C. Newman. Legend has it that when the early explorers landed in the shores of Cuba they found a golden leaf which they christened as Perla del Mar. The cigars are blended with Nicaraguan tobaccos from the distinct regions of La Reina, Pueblo Nuevo, Condega and Jalapa. They are enfolded in a luxurious Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. The result is a smooth and creamy cigar with mild to medium bodied profile. They are also bestowed with 90 point rating by the critics.
