SCROLL TO PRODUCTS
For the second year in a row, E.P. Carrillo Cigars is releasing a limited amount of Short Runs with a whole new blend this week to stores across the country. Inventory is very tight so contact your local tobacconist and ask for Carrillo Cigars by name!

Available in three sizes, the Retro Short Play is the robusto. The Retro Extended Play is our toro and the Retro Long Play is our longest smoke of the bunch the gordo. The blend includes an USA Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and a mix of Mexican, Honduran and Nicaraguan filler.

In Ernesto's words, the Honduran leaf is where this blend really started. “I wanted to see if I could make some blends with Honduran tobaccos,” says Perez-Carrillo. “Just before the pandemic I got two bales of Honduran tobaccos from Jamastran, from the Plasencia family. We started doing experiments with that…The last time I used Honduran tobacco was when I did the Artesanos de Miami. We used that tobacco as a binder at that time. I’ve never used it since.”

It is not a very complex cigar, but it is a very good one, nonetheless.
