The vintage cigar label depicts a pastoral setting similar to J.C. Newman’s childhood home. The only brick home in his village. Not only did J.C. Newman’s home serve as the family’s residence, but it was also the town’s tavern where locals and visitors alike gathered nightly to eat, drink, smoke and enjoy each other’s company. The original blend was a Cuban Puro, handmade with only the finest tobaccos brought from Havana. Three generations later, Bobby and Eric Newman, decided to recreate the vintage cigar by blending specially aged Nicaraguan tobaccos with a earthy Havana Subido rapport match the rich yet well balanced flavor of their grandfather’s cigars.
