Litto Gomez may have one of the most convoluted routes to the cigar industry than any other brand owner. A native of Spain and raised in Uruguay, he had no background in the business, first moving to Canada, then to Miami, where he and his future wife Ines created La Flor Dominicana. A mild smoker to begin with, his first cigars reflected that taste, but as he learned more about what cigars had to offer, his direction evolved into what La Flor Dominicana has to offer today, with liberal use of ligero tobacco.
