Cuesta Rey Centenario

The year was 1884 when a young Spanish immigrant, Angel La Madrid Cuesta, first opened a small, handmade cigar factory. Señor Cuesta, one of the great cigar craftsmen of the 19th Century, was soon joined by Peregrino Rey and together they founded the renowned Cuesta-Rey brand of premium quality cigars. Boasting a rich 120-year heritage, Cuesta-Rey was formerly made in Cuba and was the official cigar of Spain’s King Alfonso XIII.  Today, Cuesta-Rey cigars are handmade by the world famous Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic.

Cuesta-Rey Centenario are ultra-smooth, creamy, mild-to-medium-bodied premium cigars.  Handmade with light Connecticut Shade natural or dark Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrappers and the finest Dominican long filler leaves, the tobaccos in Cuesta-Rey Centenario cigars are aged an average of five years. Five levels of quality control and over a century of expert craftsmanship make Cuesta-Rey one of the finest cigars in the world.
